Founded in 2026, our consultancy draws on more than 30 years of experience across wholesale and retail water sectors. With a base in Durham, in the North East of England, we provide independent expertise, analysis, and market intelligence to help organisations navigate the complexities of the water industry.

We understand that weaknesses in processes, knowledge, and data quality can lead to inaccurate customer charges and missed savings opportunities. Our role is to identify these issues, provide clarity, and deliver practical solutions that help organisations make informed decisions and achieve better outcomes.

WTR Utilities focus on correcting these charging errors by completing a full independent audit of customer charges, using in house developed techniques to identify opportunities for recovery for our clients. 

Where required this will involve accessing full customer billing information alongside comprehensive site plans to enable us to validate the accuracy of charges. 

Most water consultants concentrate on the larger commercial, industrial or multi-site companies, and whilst we love working with these potentially more complex site scenarios, we also recognise that there are smaller, local companies who would also benefit from our services.

We spend time in our local region trying to instigate real changes that benefit the organisations around us.
